Amazon Gold Box ... gone

I just realized that Amazon has yanked the Gold Box feature from their site.

In the past two or so years I occasionally opened the gold box in search of a good deal. And never was I offered anything I may have remotely wished for. Items such as power tools, kitchen appliances and jewelry were common.

One would think the gold box would offer deals for items that were in one's wish list or related to stuff bought in in the past. Quite the opposite, items I had never even browsed for showed up.

I say, good riddance.
